Then the girls made a Christmas ornament as I am sure by now you have already seen! lol They placed snow in the bottom, and rolled up pieces of coordinated scrapbook paper to place inside. It made pretty swirls. Each ornament was personalized with puff paint (thanks Lindsey!) with the Daisy's name and troop number.Lastly, it was a bittersweet day for the girls. One of our Daisies and lover of all things *pink*, Makayla, was leaving for Oregon. Her mom, Lindsey has been our co-leader, not to mention my very good friend! I wanted to give them a proper send off, but was home with Lil because she had the flu.
Holly, Katlind's mom, did me the huge favor (Thank you Holly!) of delivering the speech I wrote. At the end the girls all gave them a great big hug goodbye. I am glad the girls got a chance to say goodbye. They were actually just talking about her at the last meeting. We plan on making a short video at the next meeting to send to her and be a sister to our Girl Scout up north to help her adjust.
Thank you to Kira's mom, Amy, for taking the pictures! Thank you Makayla, for being such an adorable little girl with lots of sass! Thank you Lindsey, for being such a great friend and co-leader! And WELCOME, Melissa (Bailee's mom), as our new co-leader, who has already been such a great help and is fun to be around too! :)

Thanks Meredith for all you do! We really miss you all!! We are trying to find a new troop out here but so far haven't had any luck. We would love to keep in touch with you and hear all the fun things you little Daisys are up to. Troop 1866 is the best:)
