Here are a few shots from the cookie meeting we had at Skateland that I was able to take before my camera battery died. Thank you for putting up with the music while we discussed all the cookie details! Afterwards, the girls skated their hearts out. Some went fast, some went slow, and some clung to the wall like everyone does their first time skating. No matter the speed, great fun was had by all! :)
The girls earned their red petal, courageous and strong, that night and we hadn't even planned on that. They were not scared to fall. They were determined to figure out how to stay on their feet. While they were at all different skill levels, they joined together and showed their strength as a troop as they ALL took a lap around clinging to the wall. It was the sweetest moment, I think, we've had all year. They were all there for each other and it was great to see.What lovely girls we have in our troop...I'm so happy to know each one of them!
