This was sort of like musical chairs, except instead of trying to get other people out, the goal was to fit everyone IN. They had to help each other, as each hula hoop was taken away. Of course, at the end, there was only one hoop left, which lead to one big hug and this GREAT picture!

Daisy Meeting 1-15
With 11 girls in the troop, it would be impossible to celebrate all the birthdays separately. Instead, we decided to have one big party for everyone! It was the perfect time to do it...it actually WAS Katlind's birthday and time to earn the "Be a Sister to Every Girl Scout" petal! Katlind's parents brought in pizza for our snack and party favors too...thank you Holly and Dan! :)
Each girl was given a tiara and feather boa to wear while we talked about how each of them is special in their own way and that by being Daisies, they arre like sisters to each other. To be a Daisy means to be there for your friends, helpful and supportive. We also made a point that all people should be treated nicely, even if they are not a Girl Scout.
The games we played during the party were team building exercises. Have you ever done this one? The girls had to find a way to get across the room only standing upon their sit upons without leaving a Daisy behind! These girls are quite smart...as you can see they figured it out together!
The next game was hilarious...lots of giggles all around. In learning to trust each other, they leaned back to be caught by their partner.

Happy Birthday Everyone!
