Field Trip!!!

Our next meeting (April 23rd) is going to be a field trip! To earn our last petal, we will be taking a tour of the Gilbert Police Department! Everyone is welcome to come, parents too! We will be going over there during our regular meeting time. The tour starts at 3:45 and should last about an hour. Then we will return them to the school.

As part of these tours, you will be able to view the new state of the art public safety facility, including the Communications Section, records area, and the briefing rooms. You will also have the opportunity to sit inside a real police vehicle and meet a working officer.

As with any field trip, permission slips are required. Simply copy and paste this bit below, sign, and print it out. You can send it to Lillian (Ms. Pachek's Room) through the school folders, scan it and email it to mwrightaz1@yahoo.com, or bring it with you on the 23rd. Just don't forget it!

My adorable Daisy Girl Scout, ______________________, has my permission to travel with her troop to the Gilbert Police Department and take their amazing tour on April 23rd. I understand that the tour starts at 3:45, should take about an hour, and then the girls will be returned to Islands Elementary.
